Did you know that Back-To-School shopping is the second most expensive time of the year, after Christmas? If you are a parent, you know all about the first week of school outfits, new shoes, haircuts, school supplies and unending accessories. You also know these things can add up quickly.

If you are a college student โ€“ the massive textbooks alone can cost you thousands of dollars though I remember not using them effectively in my classes. Even as a single adult, one can feel the seriousness and focus of the upcoming fall season and the push from businesses and corporations to look better, make better use of time and create more revenue.

In any case, it is a rare family that has money to burn this time of year. So when making decisions about which type of mobile technology to purchase either for yourself or a loved one- price and quality are sure to come to mind. In steps Walmart Family Mobile.

Unless you are my grandma, you realize the importance of having a mobile phone. And once you realize you need a mobile phone, you will certainly next realize that you need a smart phone. It is a busy world and most of us can be more effective with a device that does infinitely more than just make phone calls.

The thing about smart phones is that you are not done once you possess your cool new gadget. The major expense comes in the form of your monthly service charges. Who has the cheapest wireless plan?

With my previous smart phone, I was paying $100 a month for essentially the same service that Walmart Family Mobile offers for under $40. This is the lowest priced plan for unlimited talk, text and web that I have heard of.

In the attached video, I show viewers many facets of the Alcatel On Touch Fierce phone. Partnered with the service plan my favorites aspects are unlimited texting, sharing on social networks, GPS navigation, shooting photos, videos and using the phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Walmart gets straight A’s for value, usability and family friendliness. Have a wonderful school year and don’t forget to pick up an extra pack of markers for me!
